Back in 2015, co-owner Gloria Hoffman and her mother Linda Clark had the Sharks on season 7 of ABC’s Shark Tank performed "The Twist" as the mother-daughter duo pitched their innovative fitness product Simply Fit Board to investors (via CNBC’s ambitions). The Simply Fit Skateboard is shaped like a brightly colored concave skateboard, allowing users to improve their balance, strengthen their back and legs, and strengthen their core simply by standing on the skateboard. Hoffman and Clark then showed consumers how to further their workout by twisting at the waist, and the board would slide seamlessly with them thanks to its highly lubricated plastic material. Sharks Kevin O’Leary and Robert Herjavec didn’t hesitate to jump in and try the product out for themselves. Lori Greiner was also interested, offering $125,000 in exchange for a 20% stake. Hoffman and Clark countered by asking the two Sharks if they would be interested in a joint deal, and Greiner immediately said no. In the end, the Queen of QVC won and the Simply Fit Board sealed the deal.

Simply Fit Board Takes Off After Shark Tank
